Automated seeds:
Autoflowering seeds are bred to flower regardless of the amount of light they receive. This means they have a fixed life cycle and will automatically enter the flowering phase after a certain amount of time, usually within 8 to 10 weeks of germination. This makes them particularly easy to care for and ideal for beginners, as well as for growing in environments with limited control over light cycles.

• Advantages:
  
  -Fast cycle: Automated seeds require less time from seed to harvest, allowing for multiple harvests per year.
  
  -Easy to manage: Because they flower independently of light cycles, they are less labor-intensive and ideal for inexperienced growers.
  
  -Compact size: These plants tend to be smaller and more compact, making them good for indoor growing or limited space.
  

• Disadvantages:
  
  -Yield: Compared to feminized seeds, yields per plant may be lower.
  
  -Potency: Some autoflowering strains may have lower THC concentrations than their feminized counterparts.
  
  

Feminized seeds:
Feminized cannabis seeds are bred to produce almost exclusively female plants. Female plants are responsible for producing the coveted cannabis buds, as male plants mainly produce pollen and not flowers. Feminized seeds are ideal for growers who want to achieve maximum yields of flowers without the risk of having to remove male plants.

• Advantages:
  
  - Higher yields: Since almost all plants are female, the entire growing space is used efficiently, resulting in higher yields.
  
  -Quality: The flowers of feminized plants tend to have higher potency and better quality because all the plant's energy goes into flower production.

• Disadvantages:
  
  - Light control: Feminized plants require precise control of light cycles (typically 18 hours light / 6 hours dark during the vegetative phase and 12 hours light / 12 hours dark during the flowering phase), which can be challenging for beginners.
  
  -Longer growing time: Compared to autoflowering seeds, feminized seeds have a longer life cycle, which means they take longer to be ready for harvest.

Automated seeds are ideal for beginners and those looking for a quick and easy growing method, while feminized seeds are suitable for growers who are looking for maximum yields and the highest quality and are willing to provide the necessary light control. Both types of seeds have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice depends on the grower's specific needs and goals.

The seeds should be stored in a cool, dry and dark place, ideally at a temperature of around 4°C. A refrigerator may be suitable for this as long as the seeds are hermetically sealed to avoid moisture.

We recommend storing the seeds for no longer than two years to ensure a high germination rate. Longer storage may reduce germination capacity.
